The Latin term QUIDNUNC translates into English as “what next?” This program is designed in that spirit. The aim of the Quidnunc Program is to allow juniors and seniors the opportunity to investigate in depth an academic topic of their choosing with their peers.

Quidnuncs should apply past academic experiences to new problems. The role of each student, and of the group’s faculty sponsor, will vary according to the model outlined and goals set. Previous groups have studied international affairs, communal societies, women’s changing roles in Judaism, the changing perceptions of men and women in American society, and perspectives on South Africa.
