Visiting Lecturer Opportunities: How To Apply

How we select our instructors and courses

Proposals are reviewed by members of the Tufts faculty, references are solicited, and the large majority of applicants receive an interview conducted by two students and a faculty member.

The Board of the Experimental College evaluates all the information generated and makes the final selection.

Over the last few years, we have averaged more than 110 proposals each semester, all of which are competing for roughly twenty available slots.

Interested in teaching? Fill out a brief form to apply, or call us at 617-627-3384.

– If you are applying to teach a course you've already taught in the ExCollege, make sure you download the Visiting Lecturer Re-Application Form.

If you are a current Tufts Faculty or Staff member and you are interested in teaching with the Experimental College please contact howard.woolf@tufts.edu or call (617) 627-3384.
